5 Things To Do AFTER Your Vision Board Dreams Come True
Many people ask questions about how to create a Vision Board and how to make sure their vision becomes reality along with all of the other obligations they have in their lives. But a few weeks ago, I received a reader question that I hadn’t heard before:
“I have manifested my trip to Greece which has been on my vision board. Should I now take Greece off and put something else in its place?”
Now, I’ve written about when to update your vision board before, but this was a different question. This reader wants to continue building on her dreams. Now that she’s realized some success, she wants to dream bigger and manifest more. #yougogirl
Today I want to dive specifically into what to do AFTER you’ve manifested your dreams to make sure you continue to reach even bigger goals. And don’t forget to enjoy and celebrate the goals you have reached along the way.
What does it mean to Manifest Your Dream?
If you’ve never created a Vision Board before, you may be scratching your head and wondering. What in the world is manifestation?
Manifesting means to turn your dreams into reality.

Do I need a Vision Board to Manifest my Dreams?
A vision board is just one tool in the toolbox to manifest your dreams. There are a lot of different manifestation techniques you can use that will help you reach your goals.
I use vision boards primarily for my goal-getting because it helps me to plan out my entire year based on the values that are important to me. It’s a chance to hit the “reset” button on whatever conditioning I’ve picked up over the last year and create a beautiful visual to motivate and inspire me passively throughout my year.
What to do After you’ve Reached your Goal?
If you’ve created a vision board and watched your vision came true, you might be ready to tackle a new goal. Once you’ve realized the power of manifesting, and know that you can ask the universe for what you want out of life, it’s really hard to stop.
Express Gratitude
You’ve just accomplished something amazing. You don’t have to immediately rush into a new goal. Take a second to be grateful for where you are. Think about where you were and the growth you’ve realized in order to make it to where you are today.
There was a time when I could not afford to put food on the table. After learning how to manage my money better, I was able to feed myself exactly what I wanted to eat. (No more peanut butter sandwiches!)
I was ready to set a new goal, something bigger, but every night when I made dinner I thanked my family, friends and every other minute detail that made my stability possible.
Take a break
Watching your dreams come true is an exciting time! But after an intense goal has been conquered, you might want to take a break and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Jumping directly into a new goal can sound exciting now that you know with certainty that you have the right tools to build your dreams. However, being in a constant state of goal-setting can also lead to burnout and exhaustion. Make sure you’re taking some time for self care.
Spend some time improving a different area of your life
After you’ve accomplished one goal, it could be a great opportunity to shift your focus to another area of your life.
If you’ve recently manifested a vacation, then you know you’ll have some self care coming up in your near future. Now, you could take time to focus on your faith, you could focus on your career or education, or you could spend more time on your health.
There are several life areas that you could work on. Once you’ve taken care of yourself in one area, you can feel good about moving on to the next.
Strengthen relationships with friends and family
When you’re in the middle of serious goal-getting, you may decrease the amount of family and friend time that you invest in. After you’ve accomplished a big goal is a perfect time to re-balance your life in away that makes time for the people you love.
Remember, having a lot doesn’t mean much if you have no one to share it with. Make sure that you’re investing in your loved ones as much as you are in your goals.
Visualize an enhanced experience
If you set a very large goal, maybe you’ll want to visualize the details of your experience. For this person who originally visualized a trip to greece, a fun next step could be to visualize the type of food she’s going to eat, what sights she’ll see and how she will feel in the moment.
Take this opportunity to go deep on your goal to create an experience that aligns with who you are and how you want to interact with the world.
Revisit your vision board
If you’re really ready to jump into another goal, then yes, it’s time to revisit your vision board and create a new vision. You can either update just the image of the goal you’ve already accomplished or you can refresh all of your goals and create a brand new vision altogether.
